What Network should I connect to here at MCC?
Here at MCC we have 3 options for connecting to wireless:
- The "guest" wireless network is available for basic functionality, such as browsing and email access.
- The "mesacc" wireless network is designed for anyone with a MyMCC portal account, including students.
- We also offer wireless access to anyone with a MEMO email account, including employees from other campuses in the Maricopa County Community College District. (Contact the HelpCenter for more information).

Safety and Security on the Wireless Networks
The owner of the computer will be responsible for any and all network traffic generated by that computer. Unauthorized or undesirable usage (such as viruses or Peer to Peer file sharing) will result in removal of network access from that computer. The owner must abide by MCCCD’s Computing Resource Standards.
While we cannot provide virus scanning software to non-employees, we encourage all users to have a virus scanner installed on their computer. Computers that are found to be flooding the network because they have been compromised by a virus, trojan, or spyware will be disconnected from the network without any notice or warning. Here is a list of antivirus software
recommended by the HelpCenter.
MCC's wireless network is only to be used for conducting MCCCD related business or for purposes of teaching and learning. Any other usage (such as checking personal email, connecting to outside VPN's, etc) while not strictly prohibited or enforced, is not supported.
